Fun in the Sun

John and Seth had a blast in the waves and went out almost everyday to body surf... even on the rainy days!

Nori + Beach doesn't = love

We went on Vacation to the beach this week, and it was wonderful! We had a great week of food, fun and relaxing. The first day we went out to the beach. It was warm and slightly overcast with little to no wind... a perfect beach day. Nori was great with all the new sights and sounds... this lasted till we set her in the sand. She touched her hand down, tried to shake it off, looked at the sand still stuck to her... and decided the beach was not for her! Nori did not like the sand or the ocean water at all. Oh well, John and I are really mtn. folk anyway.

Going for a Ride

Nori carries her measuring spoon everywhere with her, the 1/4 tsp to be exact. Is it just me or does she look like she is smoking a pipe?

My Girl

Nori, my sweet little bean, has been such a delight this week to be with! She is growing so fast, and moving more and more. Its so fun to see how fearless, and determined she is as she tackles this new world of motion. And when she laughs... be still my heart!

No Cool Air

A few weeks back our air conditioner broke in the upstairs of our house. Praise God that we have 2 units... we were able to sleep downstairs till the problem was remedied. Nori loved this, well she LOVED the air mattress. To all Moms out there, if you are looking for something to provide hours of fun on a rainy day for your little one, pull our an air mattress. They will think you gave them the world!

The New Face of Nori

Thanks Ella and Aidan

Nori's friends from up the street let her barrow their fun "one man band- mirror-show"toy, and really has been enjoying it. She gets the music going and then enjoys the show... herself rocking out in the mirror! Thanks Ella and Aidan for being so generous!

Tent time.

Saturday we decided to pull out Nori's tent and tunnel of a bit of fun. I think John spent more time than she did in it, but I'm sure as time goes on that will change.

Nori is 10 months old

Happy 10th Birthaversary Nori! You are a shining light in my life! Each day God reveals another secret of love tucked away inside of you like a treasure. I am so thankful for the beautiful creature He is growing you to be! Its crazy to think that in 2 months you will no longer be a little baby... I guess I should have seen the writing on the wall since it has been a long time since you have been little, my sweet chunk, and since you are trying so hard to walk and talk and do all the other things toddlers do.

Pat the Bunny

Nori loves loves loves this book... as soon as we get to the end we must start over again, and again, and again! Its so fun to see her really get it, and do the diff things on each page. If you listen closely you can hear her sniffing the flowers.(she always takes these really big sniffs) Thanks to the newlywed Jason and Amy for such a great book!

Nori Ninja Attacks Again

Nori Ninja was out in full force today. First she swiped my headband(she was super pleased with herself for that one) and next she went after John's nose... with a little less success... to John's relief it is still attached!

Cousins

Nori, Joshua, Ashley, and Jeremy had a visit this Labor Day. Side note; Jeremy is 3 months older than Nori and they both weigh 22 lbs. She is such a sweet chunk!

A Lake Beach is still a Beach

This is Nori's first time with waves "lapping" at her feet. She wiggled her toes in the sand and then tried to sit down in it. She is still our little observer... maybe we will get a bigger reaction when we go to the big beach soon.
