Uncle Jim and Aunt Marcia

Later Christmas day we went to have lunch at Uncle Jim and Aunt Marcia's house. The food was stellar, and the company was even better!

Daddy and Nori

Nori enjoys John so much.... its really fun to watch.

Nori's First Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas morning as a new little family. We stared out with breakfast in bed and reading the Christmas story. then we made our way downstairs and Nori opened her First Christmas Presents.... 3 books, a plate for her wall, and a special mug to match a set John and i have. That time will always be a precious memory.

More from Christmas Eve

Here are more family fun photos from Great Aunt Leslie's house.

Family

John and His sister, Andrea, with Jeremy and Nori... the youngest cousins.

A Lesson In Listening

It may be hard to tell what is going on in this photo, so here is the scoop. Aunt Leslie had an assortment of nuts(thanks to John's dad) out on the table. There were sweet ones in a dish, the men had some flaming hot ones still in the can. Joshua picked up the can and poured the hot ones in with the sweet ones. All the while we were telling him "no" and to not eat them, that the nuts are hot. Well, with all that said, Joshua promptly popped a few in his mouth. The heat was unlike anything he had ever had... the end result was this photo... him at the kitchen sink splashing water in his mouth.

A Visit to Raleigh

We went to visit my(Kristi) parents, Kimmy, and Seth the weekend before Christmas. My mom took a flurry of photos and somehow in the commotion I didn't really take that many. Here are the few I did get. We had a great visit, played lots of games, ate good food, and passed the baby around a lot! A few of us even managed to get in a few naps.

Not the Chosen One

We spent the day one Sunday carefully undressing Nori every time she went to sleep so we could get a good naked photo of her for her birth announcement. Why naked... well i thought it really is the only time in a persons life that it is appropriate. These are some that we did not end up using... you'll have to wait to get the real deal, coming to a mailbox near you soon!

Its The Barts!!!!

We were delighted to get a visit from our very dear friends the Barts... now a family of three(as with the new addition who is now 8 months old!!!!) Jon Bart got in a few naps, along with the babys. Nori loved meeting Micah (who we would have marry our sweet daughter, if we believed in arranged marriages) and Micah loved attacking our home and toys! We miss seeing them on a daily bases but are thankful still for the time we had!!!!

Smiles, Smiles and more Smiles

Just when you think there is no way Miss Nori can get any cuter she goes and melts your heart!!! Nori has started to smile in response to you, and its the best thing in the world!

Chunky Monkey

My sweet baby girl is officially a little chuncker! We had her one month check up today...and while she is in the 70% for her height and head, her weight is at a whopping 97%... 12lbs 4oz. What a good eater!

My Little Red Head

Its wild to me how bright and vibrant Nori's hair is and how her eyes sparkle. She is such a little thinker. I am blown away by God's creativity, and I am overwhelmed by how much He is loving me through the blessing of my sweet daughter!
