Banner's First Day Home

So to make it home Banner had to brave a slight mix of rain and sleet and some very cold wind. Bundling up a 2 day old is no small task!

I guess we have to get a new URL for our blog now...

Nori is 2 years old! how did this happen? We had a great day together, we went and picked out a balloon at the party store and got to eat cupcakes... Nori insisted on using a fork.

So after a super rainy start to the day, the sun came out, and we decided to do the same. We visited a local pumpkin patch and farm. Nori had so much fun running in the hay maze, feeding animals, and going on a hay ride.

The Best Park

We met up with our friends the Barts in Raleigh to go to the park. We had a fun day of running, playing, riding trains and carousel horses! How we wish this could be a weekly time together!

Big Girl Bed

It has been a week since we packed away Nori's crib and moved her into her Big Girl Bed. I think it was a bigger move for us (john and I) than for Nori, she acts as if she has always slept in a big bed. The best part is getting her up in the AM and at naps... you walk into the room to find her standing in bed saying," Yeah, Nori, Yeah!"
