The Best Park

We met up with our friends the Barts in Raleigh to go to the park. We had a fun day of running, playing, riding trains and carousel horses! How we wish this could be a weekly time together!

Big Girl Bed

It has been a week since we packed away Nori's crib and moved her into her Big Girl Bed. I think it was a bigger move for us (john and I) than for Nori, she acts as if she has always slept in a big bed. The best part is getting her up in the AM and at naps... you walk into the room to find her standing in bed saying," Yeah, Nori, Yeah!"

Today Nori had her first set of pigtails.

Nori "cooked" her first dish today. We made chocolate pudding. Nori poured in the ingredients and did the mixing. Then she got to taste the fruits of her labor.

We were blessed for our anniversary again this year by a trip to Lake Lure... one of favorite places on earth. We all had a blast at the pool, lazy river, lake beach, and riding around in the gulf cart. Nori liked the golf cart so much, in fact, that she claimed it for her own "Nornor's gol cart"... she still asks for her golf cart on a reg. basis.

Nori came out of her room the other day and ran right for the mirror... where she stayed for a good bit of the afternoon, checking out her new look.
